RyteBox is a cloud-based platform designed to streamline music rights and royalty management for publishers, labels, and distributors. The application centralizes contract and catalog management, revenue processing, and creator relations into a unified interface. Key features include contract term tracking, asset delivery monitoring, real-time royalty calculations, and customizable reporting. The platform also offers a multilingual Creator Portal, allowing clients to access branded portals, analyze royalty data, approve sync licenses, and streamline communication
As the Director of UI/UX, I led the design and optimization of RyteBox's user interface, focusing on enhancing usability and accessibility. This involved simplifying complex workflows, improving data visualization, and ensuring a consistent user experience across the platform. The redesign resulted in a 20% increase in daily active users and improved accessibility, demonstrating the impact of thoughtful design on user engagement

A major challenge during the design of RyteBox was translating complex music rights and royalty workflows into an interface that felt intuitive and manageable for users. Early prototypes revealed confusion in tracking contract terms, monitoring asset deliveries, and interpreting real-time royalty data. Users struggled with overloaded dashboards and inconsistent navigation, which risked errors and slowed workflow efficiency. Balancing comprehensive functionality with a clean, minimal interface required careful planning and multiple iterations.
Another significant challenge was ensuring the platform accommodated a wide range of users, from music publishers to creators, each with varying technical expertise. Designing the multilingual Creator Portal added complexity, requiring clear visual cues, accessible layouts, and responsive designs across devices. Ensuring seamless integration of data visualization, approval workflows, and notifications without overwhelming users demanded iterative testing and close collaboration with developers and stakeholders.

To address the complexity of music rights and royalty management, the design implemented clear, intuitive user flows and interactive dashboards that guided users through contract tracking, asset monitoring, and real-time royalty analysis. Visual hierarchy, consistent iconography, and contextual cues were applied to simplify navigation and reduce cognitive load. Wireframes and interactive prototypes were iteratively tested to ensure tasks could be completed efficiently and accurately, improving overall usability and workflow efficiency.
The multilingual Creator Portal was designed with responsive layouts, accessible interfaces, and clear visual feedback to accommodate users of varying technical expertise. Key workflows, such as sync license approvals and royalty reporting, were streamlined and visually reinforced with data visualization tools. Close collaboration with developers ensured technical functionality aligned with design intent, resulting in a cohesive, user-centered experience that empowered both publishers and creators to manage complex processes confidently.
